This Course looks at the issues encountered by driving
professionals. This course includes all necessary course material.
PDIC is a one-day course designed to sharpen a driver’s skill
through a structured look at experiences and problem areas
shared by all drivers such as bad weather, winter roads ,
pressures of time and distance, etc.
This course demands professionalism. It focuses on drivers’
expectations and analysis of dangerous situations; it assumes
that the drivers know what they are doing before they take the
course. It challenges preconceived notions and takes for granted
that experienced drivers already know such things as safe
following distances and speed limits.
PDIC is taught from a professional truck drivers perspective, not that of a
teacher’s or passenger car driver’s.
ACT ON IT – NOW !
- The course for students gives
drivers up to three (3) merit points that can be applied to
their Alberta driving abstract.
- This course will provide
experienced drivers with a fresh perspective on driving and
renew their enthusiasm for the profession!
