Hours of Service Courses
The AMTA, in conjunction with Transportation Compliance Center,
has scheduled Federal Hours of Service training and
National Safety Code Compliance training.
June 22 & 24 ,
2011.
The instructor will be Lynne Hartman, a
certified Alberta Transportation NSC Auditor, an experienced log
book auditor, and a certified AMTA COR Auditor.
Courses offered:
Federal Hours of Service
Federal Hours of Service Regulations apply to all
carriers who operate commercial vehicles over 4500 kgs outside
of the province.
This day long seminar provides the student with the knowledge to
apply the legislation and ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements.
Further, the participant will be able to implement these
regulations with the driver fleet to help reduce the on-road
violations for non compliance.

National Safety Code
Familiarization Course
This educational seminar provides participants with the
knowledge required to create, maintain and implement both a
safety program, and a maintenance program.
Topics include policy and procedures to ensure compliance
with program legislation, plus driver files and record keeping
requirements. This
seminar is recommended for Managers, Safety Officers and Safety
Administrative personnel. Not only is this seminar for the
seasoned professional, but those new to the transportation
industry.
