business sessions.
The
first session titled " The High Risk Driver" (HRD) will be
presented by Rick Geller, Director of Safety & Signature
Services with Markel.
The (HRD) program is a
revolutionary way of managing driver performance. The
trucking industry today generally waits until a crash has
occurred before taking any actions. HRD offers a way to
accurately predict which drivers will be involved in crashes
in the coming 12 months, as well as the opportunity to
provide management intervention before the crash happens.
Following this
session will be the AMTA Annual General meeting.
The keynote speaker
at the Saturday luncheon will be Michael Kerr. Through his humour-filled
and dynamic keynotes and workshops, author Michael Kerr
inspires audiences to combat stress, boost morale and be
more productive, creative and innovative by tapping into
their humour resource.
Author
of You Can't Be Serious!- Putting Humor to Work, Michael
Kerr combines his practical, "serious" experience as a
former communications manager with his "not-so-serious"
experience as a theatre improviser, humorist and humour
writer to provide a unique perspective on the role humour
and laughter play in our professional lives.
Michael Kerr is a faculty member of The Banff Centre for
Management, a Laughter Leader for the World Laughter Tour, a
member of the American Association of Therapeutic Humour and
The International Group for Humor Studies.

You Let the Animals Out? - A Field Guide to Rocky Mountain
Humour" Michael Kerr also writes a regular humour column for

Saturday night. Following dinner and award presentations,
