PIC:
Mullen, Exalta, Schlumberger, W-K Trucking Earn PIC Status
Two more
Alberta-based trucking fleets will be enjoying perks, including
operational savings,
granted only
to
those fleets with
exceptional safety records. Congratulations to the following
four fleets that were awarded PIC
status in June:
1. Exalta Transport Services Ltd.
2. Mullen Oilfield Services Ltd.
3. Schlumberger Canada Limited
4. W-K Trucking Inc.
Partners In Compliance staff have been travelling to fleet
operations throughout the province, as they respond to a marked
upsurge in PIC membership inquiries.
There are many reasons that entice companies to join
PIC. The biggest incentive is 98%
scale bypass. This saves time, which translates into savings to
a company’s bottom line. AMTA
estimates that each time a truck stops at a scale it costs $5
per stop. While that may not seem like a lot, when spread out
over an entire fleet over the course of an entire year the
savings add up. At a savings of $5.00 per green light pass, this
represents a combined savings of almost $650,000.00 to current
PIC members.
If you would like more information on how to place your
companies' name on the list above, please feel free to give the
staff at Partners In Compliance a call. PIC
staffers are available to help your company “work towards
excellence” and acquire the many benefits available to companies
whose desire is to be ranked among the safest companies in
Alberta.
