Time to Nominate for Safety Person of the Year (Deadline
extended to Feb 28, 2012)
Do you know a safety professional worthy of special recognition?
Someone who embraces the highest ideals and standards of safety
and embodies the spirit of true professionalism?
Now is the time to nominate that person for the 2011 Safety
Person of the Year.
Every year, AMTA presents the award at its annual spring
management conference (held in Banff, AB). The award goes to an
industry member who:
-
is working in a safety capacity as
an employee or who is contracted by an organization within
the transportation industry.
-
is a member of the AMTA.
(Membership is defined as belonging to one of the three WCB
industry codes (50701, 50714 & 57901) or direct membership
with AMTA as an Associate or through PIC, CRA or RAP.)
-
actively and regularly provide a
safety service to the industry.
